Tony Wright is the full-time highly qualified coach at Kidderminster Tennis Club. The club is very proud to announce that Tony was named LTA British Tennis Herefordshire & Worcestershire Development Coach of the Year 2024. Tony also won the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Sports Awards Sports Coach of the Year 2015 (the highest award for a sports coach in this area) and he was Runner Up in the Children’s Coach of the Year category at the LTA AEGON National Awards 2015. Tony also won Coach of the Year in the Wyre Forest District Council Sports Awards 2015 and in 2012. This comes as a result of his tremendous efforts alongside his wife, Lisa, in substantially increasing the number of junior players since being appointed in April 2011.
