Our 2023 club championship have now come to an end. Thanks to everyone that entered. We had a range of winners this year, including some first time winners. Matt Knight defeated Andy Bishton to win his first Men’s singles title. In the ladies doubles, Michelle Emerson and Katherine Brown defeated Hebe Adams and Sue Bradley, in a final where both teams consitsed of a first time finalist and a regular to finals days. In the Men’s doubles Tom Goodman won his first title, partnering Graeme Shepherd to beat Phil Adams and Woody Burgess. Finally, for our Mixed doubles event, things were a bit different this year. The event was played over one days and involved each player playing with multiple different partners. In the final, Matt picked up another title partnering Carole Lewis to defeat Andy and Katherine.
