British Tennis Membership

British Tennis Membership

Members of LTA registered clubs can receive free British Tennis Membership.

Some of the KTC members have already registered and opted-in. Club members can become a BTM at any point in the year. However, there is an opt-in deadline day. In 2018, for example, it was 23 February, so members will be unable to opt-in past this date until opting-in reopens around September/October. The LTA determines the opting-in closing and opening dates.

This membership offers a number of benefits:

+ Entry into the BTM Wimbledon Ballot run by the LTA*, (*please note – the ballot is no longer organised by the tennis club).

+ Aegon British Tennis Rating, which is essential to compete and allows you to track your progress.

+ Monthly e-letter and access to Members’ only area of the LTA website to help track and manage your tennis.

+ Ticket discounts on a number of international events, other exclusive offers on tennis products and exclusive advice to help your game.

+ To read about the full benefits, visit: www.lta.org.uk/membership

+ Members are encouraged to sign up on-line on an individual basis to British Tennis Membership via the following link and it only takes a matter of minutes: www.lta.org.uk/members/join then click on ‘Sign up today’, click on either ‘Join as a Lite Member’ or ‘Join as a Child Member’ as appropriate age-wise. Enter in the registered place to play’ Kidderminster Tennis Club’. After that you will need to enter personal and other details and create your own username and password to allow you to, thereafter, log-in and access your account. You will be given a 9-digit membership number.

Individual membership is automatically renewed when the club renews its annual membership of the LTA.

+ You may already be signed up as a British Tennis Member (BTM) with another club. Link up with Kidderminster Tennis Club as well by logging in and clicking on ‘Manage Account’.

+ Opt-In – Once registered as a British Tennis Lite Member (Adult/Junior) and linked to your relevant venue(s), you are invited to opt-in by logging in to your respective Member’s Area, (Child Members are not eligible to opt-in), and become eligible for the BTM Wimbledon Ballot and be in with a chance to get tickets.

The club ticket allocation is based on the number of KTC BTMs who have registered and opted-in. The more the merrier as it will increase the club’s ticket allocation and your chance to get tickets. By opting-in, it does not oblige you to take up any pairs of tickets you may be allocated. Good luck!

Many thanks
