It has been a mixed season for our teams in the H&W Winter Leagues, with players still adapting to our new Tigerturf courts.
Our men’s A team finished bottom of Divsion 8E after struggling with schedule changes due to bad weather and injuries. There were better results for our Men’s B team though, who finished a solid 4th in Division 11E.
Our Ladies team finished 6th in Division 5E and after a heroic last day of the season 3-1 win over David Lloyd Dudley A, it looks like our Mixed A team may have avoided relegation in H&W Division 4E (currently sitting 4th). Finally our Mixed B team finished 6th in Division 6E, and will remain in that division next year.
It is looking good for the future though, with a number of our Juniors and Adult Beginner members making their debuts for the teams this season. Hopefully this continues into the Summer and beyond.
