The Championships 2018: British Tennis Member Rules
The following ballot rules must be adhered to by all British Tennis Members across any British
Tennis Membership or Venue Ballot or ticket offer administered by the Lawn Tennis Association
(LTA).
To participate in the 2018 British Tennis Member Wimbledon Ballot you must be a British Tennis
Member and make yourself eligible by holding one of the following membership types.
British Tennis Lite or Team Membership (LTA registered venue members only)
A British Tennis Member is eligible for the British Tennis Membership Venue ballot of their LTA
registered venue(s) if they meet the following criteria by 23 February 2018. A British Tennis
Member must:
 Have an Adult or Junior active British Tennis Lite or Team Membership;
 Ensure that the relevant venue(s) is/are linked to their British Tennis Membership; and
 Be Opted In to the British Tennis Membership Venue Ballot, with the LTA.
Only the registered British Tennis Member, or their parent/legal guardian is permitted to opt
themselves in to the Ballot.
If you are a member of more than one venue, once you have Opted In you are permitted to enter
the ballot at each venue as you count towards each venue’s allocation of tickets. You must ensure
that your British Tennis Membership is linked to each venue of which you are a member. Once you
Opt In, this will count for all venues linked to your membership. You may be successful and receive
the opportunity to purchase a pair of tickets in each venue ballot.
Although you can enter more than one venue ballot, you cannot enter more than one British Tennis
Membership ballot, for example, your venue ballot and the British Tennis Membership Ballot.
You must ensure that you are a current member at your venue(s) when you Opt In and at the date
that the venue’s ballot is held. If you are not a current member your venue will be able to remove
the link from your record thereby making you ineligible for their ballot.
You can check your membership status and link your venue(s) to your record by logging into your
account on the LTA website.
British Tennis Team Membership (Non LTA registered venue members)
If you are NOT a member of an LTA registered venue you will be included in the British Tennis
Membership Ballot. This ballot is exclusive for British Tennis Team Members, whose membership is
not linked to an LTA registered venue, providing that you meet the below criteria by 23 February
2018:
 You are an Adult or Junior active British Tennis Team Member; and
 You are Opted In to the British Tennis Membership Ballot, with the LTA.
You can check your membership status by logging into your account on the LTA website.

any tickets issued to them they must notify and return the tickets as a pair, for a refund to
the LTA. Whilst the LTA will normally accept and refund the price of such tickets (provided
that the tickets are returned to the LTA at least 24 hours before the date for which such
